Who Built Sugartown

Sugartown was originally created and launched in September 2023 at Zynga, one of the world’s leading game publishers. In August 2024, members of Zynga’s Web3 team acquired the full suite of Sugartown’s IP, games, and assets in order to pursue our vision of reinventing gaming through rewarded play.

Following the acquisition, we founded our new company, D20 Labs, which now oversees Sugartown and a growing portfolio of web3 gaming ventures.
